The new oils were horizontal on a rack that we would load with another crane at the yard. Red arrow below: Open that window, roll them in and strap them down good. Horizontal barrels are dangerous when it gets nautical.

Tools & Storage becomes obsession with the percentage of most involved with industry. Imagine going to the doctors office, seeing a huge rollaway full of all kinds of surgical equipment bone saws what have you. When setting in the dentist chair they have a swing away with all the wonderful drills and probes and lights, only dentists have that. Surgical equipment tool trucks with high dollar stuff rolling up to offices, doctors rushing to turn in warranty items leaving patients setting, all swapping stories of how they broke it driving pins into bone.

My wife has DePuy Synthes titanium screws and a plate in her pelvis. The hospital does not stock that stuff. The company rep shows up like the Snap-On guy with a trunk full of special cases of hardware, and he scrubs into the surgery. Doc says I need a 62MM x #10 Check. Funny thing the rep worked with my wife at surgery 15 years ago. "I know a Mary XXXX" Looks at her face under the bed, she was ass up. "yup that is Mary"

My pelvis was broken in so many pieces they couldn't put it together with hardware. They put me in traction and let it heal back together. That was over 30 years ago so far so good.

The next morning I got to that spot and there was a deer standing in the same spot. I slowed down but something happened I dropped of the highway. Next thing I know the pickup rolled i went halfway out the driver's window and the pickup was on its side with me halfway out the window under it. It broke the ball of my hip in half and my pelvis in several pieces. They couldn't figure out what to do so they put me in traction for 6 weeks.

His last horse was a real monster a big Belgian named Gus. He was a sweet fella. Father in law was maybe 5'6" and 120 pounds wet and 5 bypasses and 80 plus years old. Gus would reach down and help him put the collar on.

Got to do a job, working late in a field, it was funny the teams of pulling horses were always teamed up in order as they explored the field, they knew who was supposed to be beside them, every one of them was friendly and calm and enjoyed pets.

Horses--A girl friend back in the 70's was trimming the nose hair on her Morgan to ready for parade, tied off to rail fence something spooked him. He bolted back ripping the rail from fence and swung hitting her in the face. Broke both eye sockets, nose, fractured her skull and broke her jaw. Day after her dad showed up and dropped him with a model 1911 right where he stood.

Great having deck engineers that look after the tools and keep order on those rigs.Always wanted to run a derrick. At least a cab like that would keep me in the seat all day.

Snap On makes medical tools also. A factory set up man for CNC machines installed several machines into one of Snap Ons plants. They gave him a special stainless steel long handled 3/8 ratchet. It was just the shell, no ratcheting guts were installed yet. It appeared to me to be the same guts as a regular ratchet. The unusual thing was the ratchet head was in the middle, with handles each side. It was made for tapping bones for screw in joints.
