Who is responsible
Legal entity name and contact will be added before launch.
What we collect
- Your email address and password (stored as a hash), to run your account.
- Your username, display name and anything you choose to add to your profile.
- What you post, which is public.
- A hashed form of your IP address with each post, to fight abuse.
Why
To provide the account you sign up for, and, as a legitimate interest, to keep the forum free of spam and abuse.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase, for the database and sign-in, with data stored in the European Union.
- Vercel, for hosting the website.
- An email provider, for account emails such as confirmations and password resets.
How long we keep it
- Hashed IP addresses: 90 days.
- Accounts whose email was never confirmed: 7 days.
- Everything else: until you delete your account.
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your browser, not in a cookie. There is no advertising or tracking.
Your rights
You can download your data and delete your account from your account settings. You can also ask us to correct or erase data, and complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
