EX200-3 — Excavators

Hey, does anyone know why I'm getting pulsation in the pressure line right after the pilot pump? It's happening both before and after the filter. Feels like air's getting through. I ran it for about 10 minutes and still get a jolt every 2-3 seconds. Is this normal?

That pulsing you're seeing in the pilot line is from the PVC firing the pump displacement solenoids on the back of the hydraulic pump. The PVC keeps the pump at minimum displacement when you're not running any hydraulic functions.
