What stick welder

I try and stay away from farmers rod, unless absolutely necessary.

Farmers rod?

6010, 6011 happens to be the go to for farmers because they are usually welding junk, rust, paint and don’t know how to weld. It’s basically MiG welding with a stick welder. It can and does have its uses. Great for first pass, great for beginners, great for penetration into rusty parts. Runs well on AC Tombstones, which can be found on most farms.

Can also run a bead through fresh or dried manure.
