Dead John Deere 855

    just updating on my 855. we just finished repacking the bucket cylinders and replacing hoses. The boom cylinders appear to be a pain in the ass to get to. From the service manual it looks like we need remove the rear idler/carrier. Both drive motors do engage, however I don’t get much reaction when depressing the right steering pedal, especially at lower speeds. I’m hopeful it’s just do to it being super low on fluid. We’re replacing filters and topping off fluid this weekend. Hour meter is still working, so I may have the lowest hour 855 at 1200

    Depends on the hour meter. It might have gone around once and it's 11,200 hours.

    Right on NC 855 would be a fun loader to spend a day on.

    I'd expect it has more than 1196 hours. Maybe hour meter didn't work or was changed. 1196 hours the machine should be like new. It could still be a good machine though.
