Track tensioner won't move even when I pump grease into it.

Does that machine work around salt water? I'm asking because we had some dozers that worked on gas wells and were in brine water, and they'd rust up something fierce. It took a lot to get them moving. The other thing to check is how worn your undercarriage is. On 963s, the idler has two positions. When it gets worn enough, you have to remove the bolts in the bottom of the frame and move it forward on the roller frame.

You can pick this up at O'Reilly's, it's really great.

Can you post a photo of the tensioner and idler? That way it'll be easy to see if the tensioner is fully extended and where the idler linkage is positioned.
