Volvo EW160B (2001) – Electrical / Electronic issue when cold

I'm having trouble with a 2001 Volvo EW160B. When I start it cold, the display blinks continuously and I hear relay clicking for around 5 minutes before it finally fires up normally. Once it's running, it starts fine the rest of the day. The colder it gets outside, the worse this happens. Has anyone run into this before? I'm not sure where to begin looking into it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Someone else had a similar relay clicking problem and fixed it by swapping relays around to find which one was bad. Might be worth trying that approach.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow. The clicking's coming from the VECU relays behind the cabin.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram they could share?
