Any ideas.?? search: DB2-5577..& buy a pump.. Or have yours rebuilt.. It sounds like the pumping plungers are stuck from sitting.?? U could fill the pump up with your concoction and let it sit for DAYS..like 3-5.. Other than that, it’s pulling the pump.. AND U NEED a strong 2 bolt puller..to pop the front gear off the pump drive shaft. Good luck.

I assume the gear is timed and can drop off inside one the pump is removed?

I’ve never had one jump time.. BUT THEN AGAIN, I stuff a couple of rags between the gear and front cover.. R u gonna try to soak it for a couple of days, before you pull it.??

It's been soaking for 3 days. I'll give it a few more but I don't see it changing

I'll try forcing some through the inlet like lca078 suggested before I buy a pump

U might be fighting 2 problems. Stuck plungers and a blocked return connector on the top cover.. I would take the return connector out of the equation.. It’s the one with a glass ball and spring.. U wouldn’t know if u freed up the plungers if the return connector is faulty..

Where is the return connector located? I don't recall seeing anything like that?

It’s the fitting on the top cover.. It’s the 1st fitting on the top cover.(9/16)
