Still think aighead's idea of covering it up is the best idea. 2' soil, layer of woven geo-fabric then another 2-3' of dirt and grass it.

Here in AL it's law that any parcel used as a landfill has to have a restriction on the title saying so forever.
Welder DaveExpert#27 The city here has built I think 3 golf courses on what we're previously landfills.

Willie BSenior Member#30 materthegreater said: How about 49 lbs of tannerite? Click to expand... A game warden wrote a few books about his life. He told the story of a dead moose in a remote lake. His plan was to blow up the moose with dynamite. He & a friend carried a one man canoe in miles. Two of them in the canoe, they planted the dynamite. I need to reread the story, but I recall it exploded when they were too close, splattered them with moose goo & swamped the canoe. Still had dead moose, but several hunks spread out. I do wonder about the legality of knocking it down & burying it. Property is big enough to bulldoze a shallow pit, put the debris in it, cover it with soil.

There is a story with the collapsed house I speak of. It was owned by an 86 year old man. He was a crank! He posted his manifesto all over town for decades. His rants ranged from claims that our tiny town was running illegal elections, to singling out me & a couple people in town as particularly evil criminals. This guy was receiving checks from the State as rent money for his niece, and her boyfriend. She hoarded dogs, Depend diapers, and other trash. When the first floor colapsed into the cellar from the tonage of 2-3 foot depth of wet dog feces, the State authorities had little choice but condemn the house. They siezed 37 dogs, found several dead also. Plumbing had failed years earlier & a mountain of garbage bags with used Depend diapers was the result. The two men seemed to crap anywhere they happened to be. The three occupants lived in the yard for a time, then got a derelict motor home. No power, water, or a place to empty tanks, they lived in the motor home. The old man died. The place became part of his estate. The niece was one of ?15? heirs, each entitled to a share of this mess. She stayed for a time, claiming it was hers. Now it is parked in a State owned Park & Ride lot near the State Capitol. For years this **** hole received several Chewey deliveries a month. FedEx drivers were not about to set foot on this property, they left the boxes on the edge of the road. The family was too lazy to pick them up, so rats would tear them open. There was a huge population of rats.

Roof has leaked severely many decades. A 2-3 foot deep layer of wet dog feces on each floor. Neighbor is now retired New York City Fireman. He felt the only way to burn it is a huge volume of jet fuel, like Bin Laden used at the World Trade Center.
Deere500aSenior Member#35 All kinds of sad with that place. First heard of Leptospirosis is animal UTI & bacteria can live in dirt & puddles for a while getting passed on. People get it,it can shut down organs if not caught & treated.
