Use the rosebud on occasions but not to often.

ThatGuysFarmNew Member#41 Welder DaveExpert#42 If you mostly cut 1" or under acetylene can make sense on a burning table because the preheat time is much less. It adds up if you're doing multiple cuts. Rounded corners at the top of the cut has nothing to do with what fuel gas is used. If the tip is too large, too close or travel speed is too slow will cause it. Wrong gas pressure for the thickness could also cause it. The oxygen used by the cutting jet is the same no matter what fuel gas. It's the preheat flames where more oxygen is required if you use other than acetylene.
