    Hello. Got 780 backhoe with 336BDT. Anyone knows if this engine can be replaced with another one? One of the Main bearing caps broke half.

    Do you know any other engine that fit? 336 really hard to find.

    A 301 would be a simple bolt in swap. It has little less horsepower but a doubt it would be problem. You can find both engines in agricultural salvage yards.     Is there anyway I can get a copy of that manual? My email is [email protected] Also if you need any $$ as a donation or anything I greatly would send you some for helping out. I just bought a machine with a 336 in it and it’s slowly weeping coolant into the oil so I wanna fix it but need torque specs ect. Any help is greatly appreciated
