Yeah, I ran it out of diesel - I know. I've pumped the little plunger circled in red and cracked the lower injector bolts circled in yellow until they bleed a little diesel when I pump the plunger. Am I cracking the right bolts on the injectors, or is it one of the other two circled in yellow as well? Am I missing something in the sequence? The tank is full.

silverstr8pNew Member#3 Been pumping awhile, but don't hear any liquid going back into the tank. I loosened the filter and cranked it and some diesel came out. I filled up the tank since then to give it the best chance. Been cranking awhile too, with and without the injector caps loose, and it still won't start.
HarleyHappySuper User#4 Could always try using a rag and pressurize the tank a few pounds, while someone else pumps.

Any other potential damage I could cause there? There doesn't seem to be a bleed screw on the filter housing to be able to see diesel running out without pulling a line, or loosening one.
HATCHEQUIPJunior Member#6 iF THE HAND PUMP IS UP ON THE CAM LObe YOU HAVE TO BUMP THE ENGINE BEFORE IT WILL EVEN THINK ABOUT PUMPING well crap, im to lazy to retype this
HarleyHappySuper User#7 Nah, a couple of pounds of PSI isn’t going to hurt it. I certainly wouldn’t try making a shower of diesel fuel. Definitely, the pump has to be on the cam lobe, if it’s pumping but you fell no resistance, you are not on the lobe
silverstr8pNew Member#8 The little hand pump seems to have decent resistance, I've pumped it probably 200 times or more, loosened every nut on every fitting on each injector over a period of days, no diesel is running out the cracked nuts on the injectors. It just cranks and cranks, full throttle, no throttle, pushed the glow plug button for 45 seconds on multiple occasions. I need to use this drill, but it won't start.
HATCHEQUIPJunior Member#9 crack the line or filter plug that is after the pump and see if you get fuel when you pump, if not pump is up on a cam lobe or pump is bad or sucking air or pump cant suck because of some kind of stoppage.
silverstr8pNew Member#10 I tried to put air pressure on the tank and still nothing came out, so I disconnected the fuel line from the tank to the primer pump and a bunch of goo came out, which eventually ran out and started flowing diesel, so I hooked it straight to the filter circumventing the primer pump and filled up the filter to overflowing out the exit line, then it fired up! Then I reconnected the primer circuit and it runs now, thanks for the tips that got me headed the right direction!
