I'm still working on replacing the head gasket, everything looks pretty good in there. I would like to replace the orings on the fuel lines and the adapters. I think I found the part numbers to all of them except the connectors on the injectors. There is a short line coming off of the injector that connects to the 1W-0942: Valve Actuator on the inside of the valve cover. A few of the parts diagrams just error out on the Cat site, and the one for the injector does not show the line. I need to order these o-rings I will try to get some pics this afternoon.

Do you have a photo of the short line located between the adapter and the injector taken from further away.? Also an engine S/N might help in tracking down that line you are looking for, which ought to lead to a Part Number the for O-Ring seals for it.

The line he is talking about is part of the injector if you look at nut on line on injector side it takes a special tool to remove it

Ill try to take a better one this afternoon, and I'll look for the engine SN.

Yes, I didn't remove it from the injector, just the 1W-0942: Valve Actuator. If you look up the injector on the Cat site it doesn't have a breakdown of parts.

I think this illustration is what we are looking for. I assume the seal you are looking for is the one at the LH end of the Line As.?

I'm going to measure the ID and OD of the fittings on the outside vs inside, if they are the same I may just order the same for each.

Good to hear. I measured the ends for the ID and the adapter for the OD, and they seemed to be the same. I ordered some 464-0509, that is what replaced the 8L2779. The 1H-1023 were still available so got them coming too.
