Volvo EC140 keeps throttling down.

The excavator starts up okay but then throttles back and runs in what feels like limp mode. No fault codes showing on the display. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Could be a fuel starvation issue. Does it eventually stall if you keep running it that way? And if you shut it down after it happens and restart it straight away, does it do the same thing again or does it still just sit at idle?

I'd check the fuel flow to the pump. Also, what engine is in yours and what's the machine serial number? That info would help narrow things down.

Thanks for the input. The machine has a Volvo 4DZXL06.1038 4L engine. It runs fine for at least 10 minutes that I've seen. It starts with normal throttle response, but then throttles down after I've been moving it around or operating the boom and bucket.
